There are two good pubs in the village, both do excellent food and drink.

Black Venus in Challacombe EX31 4TT. 16th Century pub in pretty surroundings. Serves good food but doesn’t take bookings
Fox and Goose, in Parracombe
Hunters Inn in Heddon Valley. Owned by National Trust. Good sized gardens, serves lunches dinners & early teas, closing 3-6pm
